Working in a team of 9 (1 senior engineer, 1 director and 7 variously experienced programmers) to develop the companies portal and intranet which deals with telecommunications device data and accounts and all other aspects acting as an ERP package and a fronted portal interface to be resold. Using all the latest frameworks and methodologies with strict self testing OOP PHP with AJAX and many other technologies and third party proprietary tools sets using subversion.

After i got made redundant from the small organization of 4 people i worked with before due to a downturn in work i found a new job with an ISP which provides VOIP, IPTV and Internet to the hospitality industry. I interface with there hardware software and databases allowing them to manage and process data and develop the features of existing software. There support staff and clients all use different software that i have created and enhanced and there clients use the interfaces i have worked on. I develop solely in LAMP Zend Framework and ExtJs (AJAX using JSON and XML) using Zend Studio and Navicat, they maintain a a very large amount of very large databases, this requires me to implement efficiency strategies and indexing in particular. They use a clustered dataabse system so the software model has to compensate and fall back, i have developed an API for HSBC API and PAS which falls back onto worldpay. |

I started working at Highwire when I left university and have worked on many varying specification on existing and new intranet development. They maintain a huge number of sites bespoke mainly but also mods of open source all OOP PHP MySql on UNIX base and advanced JavaScript JQuery PEAR XML and framework API’s such as Media Wiki, Joomla and Drupal. |
